I wonder, it is my understanding that this board has broad authority relating to the overall direction the RTC takes. For instance, the board is authorized to review the RTC's overall strategies, policies, and goals for resolution of various cases, and cases that may require the modification of such strategies. This board obviously has some authority in policymaking, to communicate to the Chief Executive Officer of RTC.
