The people of Florida are perfectly within their right to choose to use or not use the money. When they saw a need for a hurricane evacuation route, Representative Young helped them fill it. If they no longer see the need, then that is their choice.
Young defends the allocation of funds for a project in Florida, stating that local officials have the right to decide its necessity.
