The Public Record
If people are worried that tackling the climate crisis will come off the backs of working people, I share that worry.
Over the last few days and weeks, we’ve seen shocking scenes of wildfires and the report of 3,000 heat-related deaths.
The response from our government is to pretend none of this is happening. It's an astonishing dereliction of duty from those whose first responsibility is to keep us safe.
Extreme weather is now the new normal – and without action, the impact on the people of this country will be unimaginably grave.
I just didn't look carefully enough and I accepted it, as soon as I was aware of what happened I unaccepted it and took it down.

The T-shirt is clearly in poor taste, especially at a time of heightened fears for the security of public figures having experienced multiple threats himself.
Zack condemns the image on the T-shirt. He was tagged in a post with 20 images and clicked accept without realising there was more to it than he had seen.
Still Labour has always been this way - and Andy Burnham proving no different.
We need action on sky high rents, with rent controls, we need to end the rip off and take water into actual public ownership, not tinkering with the existing failed model as is being suggested.
I welcome the movement on that and that's provided me with some extra safety and some extra steps.
