His win today against right-wing smears is a win not only for him, but for all global majority politicians, whatever party they serve, in their fight against racist abuse.
He did exactly what an excellent councillor would do, working to calm down and heal division, and was praised across party lines at the time for doing so.
A couple of weeks ago, Labour said they'd got it wrong on Gaza. Now they have banned books by Sally Rooney, one of the most celebrated and influential authors of recent times.
I'm the only Jewish leader of a political party. I'm a victim of antisemitism every day and I've made it clear Jewish people are welcome in my party.
At the moment Palestinians don’t have equal rights, so I think I’m answering your question really clearly.
I will not tolerate antisemitism. No one will be made unwelcome because of their background, their faith or where they worship.

Ultimately, I agree with the substance of the motion. Where I disagree is the idea the Green Party should be deciding what the future of the region looks like.
I don’t think that’s true at all. I’ve got a party that was 55,000, 60,000 members when I was running for leader, it’s now 220,000.
The displacement of the Palestinian people, the genocide is clearly racist.
