People are right to be worried.

I’m not guaranteeing that it’s going to go the right way, but what I am guaranteeing is that I’m going to work every hour, every day to try to make sure it goes right.

It is right that the British public shares those worries, for jobs, for the pace of change.

The big thing I’d say is this is part of an overall package that means Britain is now the safest place for young people in their experiences online.

The evidence base is clear, the motivation is very clear and I wouldn’t do the disservice to teenagers of saying they’re all going to switch it off.
