I welcome the conversation on sovereignty. I feel like I've been going on about it for months and months, and so it's great that there's an even wider focus on it.

The evidence base is clear, the motivation is very clear and I wouldn’t do the disservice to teenagers of saying they’re all going to switch it off.

If we’re being true to those British values, it is impossible to achieve that without building a sovereign level of datacentre capacity.

I’m not guaranteeing that it’s going to go the right way, but what I am guaranteeing is that I’m going to work every hour, every day to try to make sure it goes right.
