Parts of the UK have declared drought status yet there is a political push for nuclear energy requiring huge amounts of water to operate.

If we ever want a Scottish Labour government in Holyrood again, then we must appeal to what was once a large chunk of our core vote that left us for the SNP.

MPs and MSPs being placed under pressure to block any candidate would be an affront to the values of the Scottish Labour Party, and to wider democracy.

Those in charge of Scottish Labour need to wake up to the fact that the Scottish people don’t want what we are offering.
