I strongly agree with him. Our immigration laws are archaic in this regard. We have 650,000 legal new citizens every year, and we should, in our own interests, allow highly skilled men and women--the brightest people in the world who come here to study, earn these degrees in science, technology, math--to stay here and create jobs instead of going home and creating jobs. We should do that. So he has highlighted that. The Senate adopted that last year. I hope we will have a chance to adopt it again before Memorial Day. I salute the Senator for that, and I hope this is just the beginning of his insistence on this and other types of legislation that would reform our immigration policy.
