I think Senator McConnell is starting a new career and an admirable one, voting his conscience and standing strong for the civil rights and liberties of this country.

We’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not going to have to vote.

Frankly, 77 million people knew he was going to do this, and they voted for him on Election Day because of this.

But let's be clear, the people who are voting in this way oftentimes don't respond to a case of compassion and humanity.

For all of the people who cast a vote based on grocery prices and inflation, if you think your groceries are expensive now, wait until the farms are empty.

I vote against creepy billionaire influence.

I don’t think the United States Senate should vote for a single nominee that’s going to participate in this fraud.

I want a roll call vote on that.

The restriction proposed by the amendment is a necessary step in the honest fight to ensure the integrity of our elections.

First of all, as I brought up Senate Bill 202 reduced the problems within the lines.

I urge each of my colleagues to support this important bill and vote yes on the entire en bloc package which I wholeheartedly support.

We were grateful that in 2019 a bipartisan effort between our Republican legislature and our Democratic Governor had expanded access to the ballot by allowing no excuse mail-in voting for the first time.

It is remiss to not ask the question of ourselves: Was this because of a Federal mandate, or was it because States were deciding what works best for them as it relates to voting?

One of our most sacred rights in this country is the right to vote.
