Peace is not going to be won by merely talking about it.

This is the way that we must win our way to peace.

By the Charter all United Nations members are bound to settle their disputes peacefully rather than by the use of force.

We have been using every effort possible to bring about a settlement, and we will continue to do just that.

I hope it will work out. Everybody wants peace, and so do I.
