When you're talking about an officer that has caused the city $30,000 with those kinds of fact, humiliating, strip searches in public and also possibly fabricating evidence and those cases are still moving forward.

Part of the problem with this story is you have to imagine that you have a black teenager who for no clear reason charges a cop in his car and starts punching him.

If that story is true why did it take six weeks for him he to write it down after all the evidence was in?

The problem is when you give a jury way more information than any grand jury has ever gotten, and then give them way less guidance than any grand jury has ever gotten.

The militarized response -- people forget this past summer, it was so extreme that the Tea Party and Amnesty International both said they felt that local law enforcement had gone too far.

This guy started out with a very big problem with African-Americans, he really stepped on it, he said that he would have been essentially against Dr. King on the Civil Rights Act of the 1960s, shocked a lot of people.

The only person who did it was Elizabeth Warren. And Elizabeth Warren, a liberal from Massachusetts could go to Kentucky and be well received because he was bringing that tough economic message.

We never made that case. Look at the help we are trying to give that you help you get back on your feet, look at who is in your way.

The Democrats did two things that were bad. They dissed the Commander-in-Chief, abandoned him and then what are you running to?

You had Alison Lundergan Grimes who wouldn't even admit to voting for him. That was, you know, I think, you know, political malpractice on her part.

I think it brought some comfort not just to the family but also to the community.

I understand having lived in both the black and the white world to use at that term, you know, African-American guys have to have a different conversation with their parents.

We've made progress. Dr. King has won the front of our mind but most of your brain if you're subconscious and until we can talk about the implicit bias, that's the term, implicit bias we're not going to make progress.

I think that this is a very sophisticated coalition that is formed behind the scenes.

When you say, 'Hands up, don't shoot.' I thought that was a slogan, that's the name of their coalition.

It actually is now the case, as of tonight, the young people have been meeting. They have come forward. And a lot of groups you haven't heard of -- Color of Change, Million Hoodies Movement -- both groups came out of Trayvon Martin.

But I think the bigger picture here, and why I think it's so important that Eric Holder is coming, is this summer has been a catastrophe for African-Americans. You have four or five unarmed African-American men killed by police.

I think he's going to be reaching out to Congress wherever he can.

All of this is stuff that President Obama has been speaking about for a very, very long time. His leadership is now being followed and respected by republicans.

To me, there are a couple of big deals here. First of all, people say President Obama is not a leader, he can't lead. He has led the country on this question of immigration and Republicans are finally following.

If there are losers under this new system and there appear to be some, Democrats should be stepping forward, not crouching, not making a policy, but stepping forward with real solutions.
