The deterrence factor this legislation brought about was clearly instrumental in our unprecedented drop in crime.

We must have the courage, the fortitude, to enforce, with compassion but without apology, those laws that protect the integrity of our borders.

The invasion of illegal aliens we face today--convicted felons, drug cartels, gang members, human traffickers, and even terrorists--pose one of the greatest threats to our Nation.
