When an American veteran comes to VA, it is not up to the veteran to employ a team of lawyers to get VA to say yes.

dignity is a foundational issue for all of us, and I will do my best to ensure that that is maintained throughout the force.

I intend to exercise those powers whenever I see a problem because veterans are first; the institution is not first.
