If there is an ideology that is underlying what is happening here, we'd better recognize that, and we'd better call it what it is.

Increasing the amount and availability of year-round activities at ski resorts will help attract more visitors to the resort communities.

This legislation provides us with a unique opportunity to promote some of our country's most beautiful recreational areas by encouraging and welcoming innovative thinking and more efficient use of our land.

We should not prevent people from enjoying these recreational areas all year long.

I don't think it's a good idea for the government to compete with the private sector.
