Congress should continue its oversight and hearings to stimulate VA and DoD to improve their policies and practices for MST care and claims compensation.

I assure them that at VA our experience is when we diagnose and treat whatever the issue is, but even PTS or PTSD, that people improve and that they should not let that be a barrier to them making a hiring decision.

I ask the Committee, and the rest of Congress, to help us by resolving this fiscal impasse now.

In this year's budget, if we were to look back to 2009 and come forward through our budgets, women veterans' programs have been increased by 134 percent.
