What is the plan to repay the American people, and does it have a realistic chance of working?

They want to believe that this Federal bailout is necessary, but they wonder whether the money is being used wisely.

I mean, if they see something like that, my observation is, from a distance, they have been very aggressive about that.

This is a promise in which I would urge President Clinton to keep as I hope my colleagues here in the House would as well.

It is our responsibility to take a stand and say that this will not be tolerated.

We either hold strong to our principles and show that we are truly a nation of justice, or we allow a man to die in the face of strong evidence of his innocence.

If we execute this man without a fair trial it will be an obvious contradiction to everything this country stands for and a dark day in our history.
