I am pleased to join in this effort. I wish to commend Senator Riegle for this amendment. We need this legislation regardless of who is in the White House, Republican or Democrat. Independent agencies must be protected, their integrity to do the job as they see fit, and that is what this legislation does. So I commend Senator Riegle.
