Our economy needs workers. For the first time since we've been keeping this data, we have more open jobs than we have individuals looking for jobs.

I think this puts the American people in a really difficult situation because every year they ask, 'Are we going to get our visas? Are we not going to get our visas?'

No one wants establishments to keep tips. I wouldn't frequent such an establishment.

I fully support a provision that says establishments should not be permitted to keep any portion of a tip.

Unfortunately, the President's budget request both includes a small cut to OSHA and shifts their focus away from enforcement and inspections.

What I am suggesting is that we have a healthcare system that imposes a number of mandates and that is as a Nation getting increasingly, increasingly expensive.

I think what happened, as you describe it, is offensive.

The least we can do is see that they can pay their bills and put food on the table after their lifetime of service.

These individuals served their Nation and they deserve not just to be treated with respect, but they deserve to have a job when they arrive here.

cutting this critical funding undermines that promise.
