Big-City Mayors

An hour ago, I spoke with Andrew Cuomo about the need to bring this city together as he called me to concede the race.

Padilla’s removal is abhorrent and outrageous.

This is outrageous, dictatorial, and shameful.

It’s irresponsible or reckless to think that somebody can truly live sober.

New York City has a crisis, and it’s called halal-flation.

It’s not complicated: landlords know they can make a lot more money if Andrew Cuomo is in City Hall.

If they hate landlording so much, give tenants the opportunity to collectively purchase the buildings and become homeowners.

One city died last night, and another was born.

This victory belongs to them above anyone else.

New York Jews will be safe under Mamdani, because he is a savvy politician who understands he now must deliver for them in some fashion.

Authenticity is the watchword, and Mamdani has much of it.

We have won because New Yorkers have stood up for a city they can afford.

It pains me to be painted as if I am somehow in opposition to the very Jewish New Yorkers that I know and love and that are such a key part of this city.

But, even after those defeats, so many figures in the party establishment have still failed to get the message.
