I’d protect First Amendment rights while making it clear nothing justifies calling for 'death to' anyone.

Do you want to spend the next year fulfilling the agenda at the heart of this movement, or do you want to spend it defending the caricatures of that movement?

This is not a question of the ballot box, of who would you rather vote for.

I will meet with anyone, I will speak to everyone, so long as it can stand to benefit an economic agenda for New Yorkers.

I've spent a good part of this year talking about our growth agenda.

Starting with the most recent elections, where we had just really a good turnout and great wins for Democrats in New Jersey and Virginia and New York City, the next 10 months are going to be different than the last 10 months.

We started this year with a new president who was an avowed critic of the district, and we had to reset that relationship.

It's time for me to pass the baton on to the next set of leaders who are going to take our city to the next level

The hardest thing I've had to do

We also brought our city back from the ravages of a global pandemic and summoned our collective strength to stand tall against bullies who threaten our very autonomy while preserving home rule - that is our North Star.

With a grateful heart, I am announcing that I will not seek a fourth term.

It has been the honor of my life to be your Mayor. Together, we have built a legacy of success of which I am intensely proud.

I still believe Trump is a fascist and a despot, but I viewed our first face-to-face meeting as an opportunity to work together.

I thought again and again about what it would mean for New Yorkers if we could establish a productive relationship.

Everything that I've said in the past, I continue to believe.

And that's something that I've said in the past. I say it today.

And we also wanted to focus on what it could look like to deliver on a shared analysis of an affordability crisis for New Yorkers.

What I appreciated about the conversation that I had with the president was that we were not shy about the places of disagreement, about the politics that has brought us to this moment.

With more and more projects nearing completion across Pacific Palisades, the City of Los Angeles remains committed to expediting every aspect of the rebuilding process, until every family is back home.

The Palisades community has been through an unimaginable year, and my heart breaks for every family that won’t be able to be home this holiday season. But today is an important moment of hope.

There were more New Yorkers who voted for President Trump in the most recent presidential election because of that focus on cost of living

It was a productive meeting focused on a place of shared admiration and love, which is New York City and the need to deliver affordability to New Yorkers.

Trump is sick in the head for calling for the death of Democratic lawmakers.
