The Public Record
Doug Ford has given himself the power to do whatever he wants with Little Norway Park and the Toronto Islands. It’s time to end this land grab, kill Bill 110, and return Toronto Island and Little Norway park back to Toronto.
We know that that (currently budgeted) amount needs to at least be doubled if we are going to make sure that we have enough wildland firefighters ready to go, that we have pilots to fly those planes, and that we are ready to work to…
I would like to see some accountability, but again I expect that accountability to come right from the top.
What I don’t understand again is what kind of tone has this premier set that his ministers and MPPs think that this is an acceptable way to spend the taxpayer’s dollar.
I’m really unhappy with the way that this government has approached preparation each year — and the wildland firefighters in particular have been extremely clear about what their expectations are from this government.
Ford’s MPPs were caught with their hands in the taxpayer’s pockets, and it’s time for some real answers.
Why are the people of Ontario paying for MPPs living in the GTA to stay in luxury downtown Toronto hotels?
These MPPs need to come clean about their expenses and the premier needs to make sure that every single penny is paid back to the people of Ontario.
In 2018, Doug Ford promised the party with the taxpayers’ money was over. Turns out, they just moved the party into luxury suites in downtown Toronto hotels.
To Ford’s MPPs: hard-earned taxpayer dollars are not your personal piggy bank. It’s time to come clean: show us the receipts and pay the money back.
Ford’s MPPs forgot that they were elected to do public service, not get room service with tax dollars.
I am thinking of the two lives lost and others who were injured and traumatized by the violence this evening.
There’s a lot of anxiety out there and people are saying after eight years of Doug Ford, ‘What have we got to show for it?’
We don’t know where he will be because an RCMP criminal investigation is still underway, which I repeat — very often.
I thought I was stating something pretty obvious but it was definitely just me making that seem like an obvious thing.
We’re only a few blocks from Bay Street, and, you know, Bay Street flexes a fair amount of muscle.
Imagine getting booed at your own party, then editing the photos so the protesters look like fans. Trumpian.
