Marit Stiles: “Their fight is for our kids.”

I’m writing today to the premier, calling on him to make good on his earlier remarks about buying Stelco. It’s time to turn that conversation into a serious plan.

I’m calling on the premier to work with the federal government to push Cleveland-Cliffs to give up their ownership interest in Stelco and establish public ownership and Canadian management.

Their working conditions are our kids’ learning conditions ... If this minister thinks this is just business as usual when it comes to education, he needs to get into a classroom soon.

Drug use is being pushed from health-care centres into the streets, playgrounds, transit and public restrooms.
