Hakainde Hichilema: “Boarding facilities at Lamba Basic School will be upgraded, while a skills training centre will also be established.”

The electoral victory will allow Hichilema, whose government has faced backlash for diminishing press freedom, to continue with his plans for electricity expansion and critical minerals mining.

I have continued to receive encouraging results following yesterday’s voting.

The projects will be implemented when the UPND is given another mandate in next week’s General Election.

I urge Zambians to remain peaceful, patient and patriotic while awaiting the official results.
