The actions of Hamas terrorists don't take that right away.

The terrorist group Hamas unleashed pure unadulterated evil in the world.

This is going to be an increasingly urgent matter for the president.

He is going to be even more emphatic about that than before.

The President will stay in close contact with these leaders that he is no longer going to see in person.

I'm saddened and outraged by the attack, and that I've directed my National Security team, to keep looking at new information, as it comes in.

We can take care of both of these and still maintain our overall international defense.

The United States, make no mistake about it, stands with Israel.

I do believe if Israel tried to re-occupy Gaza, it would be a big mistake.

Israel should not try to reoccupy Gaza, while adding that he does believe Israel has to respond to the Hamas assault that has killed 1400 people, including, tonight we are learning, 30 Americans.

I think it'd be a big mistake. What happened in Gaza, in my view is Hamas and the extreme elements of Hamas don't represent all the Palestinian people. And I think that it would be a mistake to for Israel to occupy Gaza again.
