I'm incredibly proud of WVU’s leadership in securing the RETI Consortium right here in Appalachia, designed to spur economic opportunities and create good paying jobs through the development of resilient energy and industrial technologies.

What started as an ambitious idea has grown into a thriving, woman-run manufacturing business that is creating jobs, revitalizing a former industrial site, and producing an innovative product right here in Marion County.

I’m proud that West Virginia has been a part of this success story, and I look forward to seeing what comes next for the Prime 6 team.

It also includes an amendment I authored to preserve both women’s and Olympic sports’ visibility and media rights, helping these sports continue to grow and inspire the next generation of athletes.
