The President talks about CCS and uses an example of CCS that is not economical or technologically feasible.

The Public Record
I think the passion I have on my side of this issue is just as heartfelt, sincere and driven by the people I represent every day.
As we all know, on Monday, President Obama and his Environmental Protection Agency announced their final clean power grab.
States should not have to begin implementing these costly and burdensome plans until an unappealable judicial decision has been reached.
Part of the ARENA Act says we should not move forward with these regulations until all the legal aspects are settled.
The largest impediment we have to operating our business successfully is our own government, particularly the EPA.
I look forward to hearing in greater detail from our witnesses about the impact of these proposed regulations and the need for clean air policies that do not overburden our States and cripple our economy.
Put simply, there is no way that this massive, largely EPA-driven reduction in coal-fired electricity generation is going to impact only coal States.
