I understand the bipartisan fashion in which he speaks. The clean coal language in the bill, while I am not detracting from the use of clean coal technology, I do not cosponsor this particular provision. It happened to come out of the Committee on Energy and Commerce, not the Committee on Resources. I might also say to the gentleman, that the coal that happens to come from my particular region of southern West Virginia is already clean coal. Clean coal technologies are fine, and I do not speak against them, but we do not have to apply those technologies to the coal that comes out of southern West Virginia and eastern Kentucky, which is some of the cleanest burning coal, low sulfur content, high btu.
