Nick Rahall: “I am honored to yield the customary 1 minute to the Democratic leader in the House of Representatives, the gentlelady…”

This committee is where the future of this country is at, in my opinion.

At this time, it is my pleasure to yield 4 minutes to the gentlelady from Ohio (Ms. Kaptur), a very powerful lady on the Committee on Appropriations, the ranking member on Energy and Water Development.

I will miss working with you and all of my esteem colleagues from both sides of the aisle, but I know that with your leadership, and your bipartisanship, and your transparent manner of operating this committee, this Nation's future is in…

I would urge my colleagues to ensure that labor remains engaged in the conversation, and that aviation programs receive robust, stable funding and to keep air traffic control in the realm of good Government, where it belongs.
