Tom Tiffany is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party, currently serving in the Wisconsin State Assembly since January 7, 2019. He represents the 35th Assembly District, which includes parts of northern Wisconsin. Tiffany has focused on issues such as economic development, natural resources, and education during his time in office. He previously served in the Wisconsin State Senate from 2016 to 2019, where he was known for his conservative stance on various legislative matters.
But that is what the Administration is doing, is they are using this rationale of climate change, or the green fantasy, to try to drive their policy decisions.
I think there are more of the Western states where we have the dominance of the Federal land that we should be leasing there also.
The bills we are considering today would increase access to public land, enhance coordination among the Federal land management agencies, reduce bureaucracy, and provide for the long-term planning of two important recreation sites.
Engaging in outdoor activities, whether it is hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, or simply spending time in nature is not just important to us as individuals. It is part of our nation's heritage.
You know, Mr. Chairman, it is really disappointing to see an Administration that says to people that one of our first goals is to make sure that people can have a subsistence living.
Are you prepared to lead the charge in issuing more mining permits to be able to produce the gold, silver, and all the other minerals that are needed for what they call the 'clean energy economy'?
