Are you prepared to lead the charge in issuing more mining permits to be able to produce the gold, silver, and all the other minerals that are needed for what they call the 'clean energy economy'?

But that is what the Administration is doing, is they are using this rationale of climate change, or the green fantasy, to try to drive their policy decisions.

Do you ever read any of the scientists, which there are over 1,000 of them now, what you would call climate scientists, who have said that this is not man caused?

In other words, they should follow the law.

I think that tracking data would really be nice to have.

We are having a hearing in regards to access that is coming up here real soon in a couple of weeks. And it is a big concern by a number of my constituents that access is being denied to the National Forest System.

So, if we are reducing the amount of emissions compared to other countries, shouldn't we be producing these energy products right in our country?

The American people have a big decision before them in 2024.

You know, Mr. Chairman, it is really disappointing to see an Administration that says to people that one of our first goals is to make sure that people can have a subsistence living.

The bills we are considering today would increase access to public land, enhance coordination among the Federal land management agencies, reduce bureaucracy, and provide for the long-term planning of two important recreation sites.

Representative Zinke's bill would require the National Park Service to coordinate with local stakeholders, hold public meetings, and open at least a 60-day comment period before any action is taken to reduce access.

These are misguided actions, Mr. Chairman, by this Administration, and it is time to change course.

Representative Zinke's bill, the Gateway Community and Recreation Enhancement Act, will support gateway communities, create better data on visitation to develop a digital pass so Americans can access the park with their mobile device.

I think there are more of the Western states where we have the dominance of the Federal land that we should be leasing there also.

Eighty thousand Afghans came in, all waived in via--virtually all waived in via parole.
