I'm new to the Senate, new to the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, but, back in my House service, I had the opportunity to serve on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, where I started to become more aware, and sometimes more alarmed, about our need to protect our critical infrastructure and the threats faced by cyber penetrations, et cetera.
