“Every American deserves to be treated with dignity and feel safe when they are traveling, but for far too long, passengers with disabilities, including our veterans, have been left behind. I have heard firsthand from Wisconsinites who’ve had their wheelchairs – the tool that lets them live a free and independent life – damaged by airlines, and it’s simply unacceptable,” said Senator Baldwin.

That's why I am proud to bring home this investment that will give truck drivers more safe places to rest, help prevent accidents that clog up our highways and put folks in harm’s way, and make our roads safer for everyone who uses them.
But when truck drivers can't find a safe place to pull over and rest, it puts them and everyone else on the road at risk.
Expanding passenger rail means more safe, easy ways to get to and from work or school, more tourists coming into our communities and buying things in our shops, and more good-paying jobs across our state.
