We know high-quality education has the ability to raise families out of poverty and meaningfully improve future earnings.

I was proud to strengthen this bill to protect student-athletes’ rights and ensure that if they are sexually assaulted or get serious injuries like CTE, they can get their justice.

Today, we will put all Senators on the record – do they want to be responsible for these high costs and their constituents losing their insurance coverage, or will they stand with Americans who just want some breathing room?

It’s just plain wrong, and I’m proud that our commonsense proposal passed the House and is one step closer to giving victims the relief they deserve.
