This is actually hanging over her head. And so we have never had a president who we would ever think we'd do something like this.
You may apply a legal standard to whether or not you should recuse yourself, but it's her decision. There's no appeal from it. She's not mandated to do it or not do it.
And the day that we stop doing what this account represents, our best days are behind us.
I found that troubling as well, and taking this idea of being careful way too far.
