The American people deserve to know the truth. They have not gotten it yet.

The fact of the matter is the agency has lost credibility, and that credibility needs to be restored.

I think it makes it even more important that we actually hold people accountable, that the American people see that those that did the targeting are brought to some semblance of justice.

the IRS currently interprets the law as saying that if they find out that you have been the victim of identity fraud, they do not even have to tell you as a citizen that you are the victim of that fraud.
