Is it not great that instead of the government dictating and mandating what kind of program is going to fit all the people in America, instead of doing that, we set this plan up and we let people decide which way they would like to save up for their own retirement. The other great thing about the Roth IRA is that if they are a young couple and they do not own their own home yet, they would like to save up to buy their first home, they can put the money into the Roth IRA. It earns interest tax free. They can take up to $10,000 to buy their first home, or if that same young couple would later like to go back to college and save up to go to college, they can take money out of the Roth IRA for purposes of either the first home or going back to college. It is really a good setup for an awful lot of people in this country. I have not mentioned the capital gains tax cut.
