Beardly Professor of Law at Stanford University, has a rich and distinguished record in the field of labor law. In addition to his impressive academic career, Professor Gould has successfully arbitrated some of the country's most well known and contentious labor disputes, including the 1992 and 1993 salary disputes between the Major League Baseball Players Association and the Major League Baseball Players Relations Committee. In the past, Professor Gould has been a practitioner on all sides of labor issues. He has represented management in labor law disputes with a law firm in New York City, and practiced for the United Auto Workers in Detroit. He also previously served as an attorney for the NLRB.
