What is the rationale for cutting this program when the need for food assistance around the world is increasing?

The Physician Payments Sunshine Act requires transparency that will help prevent conflicts of interest.

So without Federal Government assistance, this program will not continue at the State and local level, period.

I hope that it is not finally and irrevocably closed.
