The greatest trick that the devil plays is to convince you that it won't be you who he devours. It will be those others, those so-called illegals, those trans people, the welfare queens, and the boy in the basement who won't work. The majority justifies slashing hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicaid, undermining the ACA, cutting half a trillion dollars in Medicare, adding trillions to the debt, and facilitating the dismantling of care from hospitals, community health centers, and nursing homes to finance billionaire tax cuts. Then, the bell sounds, and they screech: 'For whom does the bell toll?' It tolls for thee. Mr. Speaker, I will yield back, but I will not yield my soul. Do not vote for this bill.
