I thank the gentleman. I also want to thank the chairman of the House Transportation Committee, Mr. Oberstar, for his support of this amendment as well. I know he shares my concerns about the problem of invasive species in ballast water, and I sure look forward to working with him on another bill to address those concerns more specifically.
