Today in Palm Beach County, there are a lot of diseases that have tremendous charity organizations helping to support them, to raise money. In fact, there is a ball a day that is pretty much dedicated to raising resources and to not only find research dollars, but hopefully find cures for diseases that ravage mankind, but most all of them are popular and well known. They may be AIDS, Alzheimer's, things that people are well familiar with. Regrettably, the rare diseases do not have the same fan club. They do not have the same outreach, and they certainly do not have the same support network as some of the bigger charities are fortunate to have in my district and throughout the country.
