Thank you, Chairman DeFazio, for calling today's hearing to examine how transportation and infrastructure impact climate change and explore solutions to promote resiliency.
With the expansion of more efficient transit options, Congress must support states' efforts to meet carbon emission reduction targets.
To respond to the growing challenges resulting from climate change, Congress, the administration, states and industry must join to reduce emissions and foster innovation to encourage sustainability.
I look forward to hearing more about the impacts on your members, and how Congress can support you in the future.
And any Democrat who is willing to negotiate with somebody who takes workers hostage should be disgraced.
This agenda is still my agenda, and this Subcommittee will continue to pursue it.
the shutdown impacts are harmful to the economy and that the Aviation Funding Stability Act is the mechanism to shield the FAA and the aviation and aerospace economy from detrimental impacts of future shutdowns.
