Millions of Americans are counting on their ability to buy insurance when they have a preexisting condition.

I hope the Administration is serious about listening to our ideas and incorporating them.

President Trump abandoned his campaign promise to negotiate lower prices through Medicare.

I know you agree that competition between brand drugs and generics or biosimilars is one way to bring prices down.

I hope that you'll push Senator McConnell to bring those up, as they've already been introduced.

I am concerned that that doesn't fulfill the promise of how people heard it and how I expect it would have a much bigger impact.

I was actually pleasantly surprised when President Trump campaigned on allowing negotiations.

Since the inception of Medicare Part D, Democrats and some Republicans have supported using the government's buying power to negotiate lower drug prices for seniors.

This administration, I believe, is tearing families apart at the border unnecessarily.

As a candidate, President Trump talked a big game on lowering drug prices. But after 500 days, the only healthcare price he has dropped is his former secretary.

I disagree with much of what you said.

I do not think you would give an A to a student who got 40 percent of the answers right.

Do you think it would be good for all children if the President would say good things about students like those of our National Teacher of the Year?

Do you think children benefit from your proposals to cut billions from public elementary and secondary schools?

Do you think children benefit when they have to use outdated and worn books or when their teachers have to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet?

Congress has taken very clear steps to address that issue with our budget.

I think it is very clear with fewer resources, fewer staff, and that we are going to take fewer claims and protect fewer students.

You have taken a number of extremely concerning steps to undermine civil rights protections for our students.

You have made it easier for predatory for-profit colleges and student loan companies to take advantage of our students.

You continue to prioritize your extreme privatization agenda, which would siphon taxpayer dollars away from public schools.

You have doubled down on your harmful agenda and filled your Department with for-profit college executives and lobbyists.

Thank you. That clarification is helpful for my understanding and for my colleagues' understanding as we take important steps to better address harassment in the U.S. Congress. ____________________
