Let me be a harbinger here and say this. It can and will happen if you do not take action now.

We want to make sure they are not made second class citizens.

I think what has been talked about here is allowing insurance companies to be able to innovate and offer changes without being unduly impeded.

Before the Affordable Care Act, we had almost 1 million people without health insurance. Today, that is down from--and now we are at 14 percent.

It becomes a larger pool--community-rated pool--and, therefore, you have the benefits of having more insured, and much less subject to having price increases.

How can any rational person support the Affordable Care Act?

What I see right now with the Affordable Care Act are the tools, the tools that we need in order to help make sure that people have access to health insurance that is affordable to them.

How can the Federal Government force people to buy a product they don't want?

We didn't cede the power to the Federal Government. We said we wanted to make sure our plan worked to the benefit of Washington consumers.

Going forward, as you look at the Affordable Care Act, there are a lot of people that refer to it as somehow a government takeover of our health insurance system.
