Jay Robert Inslee is an American politician and attorney currently serving as the 23rd governor of Washington since January 16, 2012. A member of the Democratic Party, Inslee has focused on issues such as climate change, clean energy, and healthcare during his tenure. He previously represented Washington's 1st and 2nd congressional districts in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1993 to 1995 and from 1999 to 2012, respectively.
