Today's hearing, along with the majority's letters that target right-wing cable outlets, are really a dangerous escalation in the left's crusade to silence anyone who does not agree with their ideology.

Rather than censure and silence constitutionally protected speech, the answer is more speech. That is the American way.

It is un-American when you are setting control--for you to redefine for yourselves what is true.

If the majority was really interested in a meaningful dialogue, you wouldn't schedule a hyperpartisan hearing to shame and blame.

I just want to join in recognizing the success of Operation Warp Speed. And I don't think we can emphasize that enough.

My home State is no exception.

Vaccines normally take more than 10 years to develop. Thanks to Operation Warp Speed, we have two safe and effective vaccines in less than 1 year.

There is hope. Our vaccine supply is expected to increase.

President Biden should, too. And that's why the Energy and Commerce Republicans will continue to push for a plan to vaccinate 2 million people a day in the first hundred days of this administration.

I agree we should be doing everything we can to get our kids back to school.

It's American innovation and ingenuity that's going to end this crisis.

We can do better, and I hope that we all begin to pay attention to what is really at stake: reliability, jobs, affordability, and our Nation's economic security.

Texas has the lowest energy cost in the country, along with the fastest transition to clean energy.

The radical environmental left is pushing top-down, one-size-fits-all mandates and costs on Americans, which will threaten our Nation's energy dominance and our national security.

We should build, not destroy.

Our concern is really when American energy resources, whether it is pipelines like Keystone, are canceled with the stroke of a pen.

I don't think that this is an acceptable path for American leadership and for us to win the future.

I think that we need to recognize the tremendous advances in the United States to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet clean air goals.

This administration is threatening a million jobs... billions of State tax revenues... and our Nation's energy security.

When we work together thoughtfully, we can win the future with policies that serve American families.
