Given the significant financial challenges we face in our near-term budget, this is not a problem that can be solved immediately.

Linking will unlock greater emissions reductions, lower the cost of clean technologies, and create good‑paying jobs in high‑growth industries.

That said, causing significant harm and inconvenience to the people of Washington state is not the way to address those issues.

Washington has deep roots in the space industry. But the industry moves at an incredible pace. To remain a national leader, we cannot be complacent. My council will help us innovate and adapt as this sector rapidly grows.
