Washington has deep roots in the space industry. But the industry moves at an incredible pace. To remain a national leader, we cannot be complacent. My council will help us innovate and adapt as this sector rapidly grows.

Which I think overshadows what a significant contribution he’s made to our state, what a magnificent public servant he was.

What we need right now is the federal government to move very, very, very quickly. We need the federal government to step up and help out folks right here in our community who are really, really hurt and need that help.

I was disappointed at the decision because resources needed to respond to a major spill are insufficient today.
