I am concerned about the large and expanding docket of our Nation's immigration court system.

The Nation's immigration courts are understaffed--you've got 32 vacancies, nearly half of the 200 immigration judges eligible for retirement.

I worry--are you going to give priority to national programs that have shown a proven capacity?

I commend you on that.

I totally agree with her. And you and I discussed that. I applauded your decision to dismiss that case.

What measures have you taken to ensure the American people that FBI shooting incidents, including the one in Florida last May, are investigated fairly and independently?

But the number of subscribers served with distant signals is lower than when we enacted the local license in 1999. Is that correct?

We will keep working on this.

We are at a point with a beautiful, pristine lake that we can keep it that way, but it is going to take some real efforts.

Right now, Vermonters are concerned about our 'great lake,' Lake Champlain.

I applaud this priority considering the accelerating impacts of climate change.

Well, it has been authorized at $11 million per year. The need has never been greater than what it is going to be in 2016.

We must have the courage to act before it is too late and make historic investments in resilience to climate change.

So I might ask, how will the proposed budget request for climate resilience support with our work in protecting Lake Champlain?

The Federal funding for Lake Champlain that has been cut by more than 60 percent over the past 4 years...

Administrator McCarthy, thank you for taking on one of the most important and challenging jobs in the United States.

A lot of these efforts cost money. The EPA budget seems to be a more and more bare bones request each year.

I would hope the EPA would support a larger funding request for the Lake Champlain Geographic Program in 2016. We absolutely need it.

Vermonters truly value the environment and the work of the EPA.

I am also going to try to reauthorize very soon the Leahy bulletproof vests bill.

As you do, to the extent you can, can you keep me and my office and Congressman Welch and Senator Sanders posted on that, what you are finding?

You and I have had the privilege of going to some of the annual Boys & Girls Clubs breakfasts in Washington, DC.

This is not a Republican or a Democratic issue.

If it works in the State system, we ought to adopt it at the federal system.

I want to thank Peter Welch. He has got 40 different places he is supposed to be today, and he has been so concerned about this issue.
