I want to thank you and the administration for once again including $20 million in funding in the President's budget to support the EPA's Geographic Program for Lake Champlain.
I have been a strong advocate for this program since it grew out of the Northern Forest Land Council.
The time to act to reduce carbon emissions within the transportation sector is now, and I applaud the efforts made by President Biden and the Department of Energy to realize this goal.
I will not be here next year, but I look at some who will and we will try to get a clean slate for the committee beginning at noon on January 3rd.
I have long believed the military does not act in isolation from the rest of the government.
We are on the cusp of negotiating a final comprehensive bill that is going to ignite our efforts to be able to compete with China.
